Sunday the 28th of April.

A ride to a cafe by the sea:)

Depart the Ace 9.30am

125 friendly (If as cool as Woozy)

This ride will include the usual lanes, gravel etc but not as long as Art’s epic, so more suitable
for the fainthearted

Full tanks and empty bladders, no nobbers etc

Initial destination is the Bluebird Café at Ferring, if it is busy and we can not get in it may be a
nearby alternative venue.

From there the route is fluid:D

Will you be coming via Box Hill?

Might join you for the morning part (for as long as the shoulder lasts) if the lady does not have a sleepover

Just kick her out early! Priorities hun!

Well if I was fully healed then I might have done so…

We could well call in at Box Hill (Ryka`s) for a 10.30 am departure.

A fluid route… Plenty river crossings then?

MetalRed, me and Jimmy will be there.

See you at the Ace.

I could be in, might have a pillion as well , but I wouldn’t bet onit yet

Ooh this looks like it’s shaping up nicely. Look forward to seeing everyone:)

What time at the Bluebird? Not likely to be on the ride, but might be able to drop by arty lunchtime.

Well how long is a piece of string? We might have to text you en route

AA route planner says 2 hrs NW10 to Bluebird.

At the moment it’s looking likely as she’s not intending to spend the night here

Arty lunchtime? My auto correct occult thinks I should go somewhere with more culture!

You’ll need to at least double that then factor in the first number you thought of

very sorry Jetsteam

i would love to have come along on this ride. i was already committed to helping out at my sailing club

apologies

have a great day though!

Losing your touch Alex?

On the contrary… I’m having a great day on Saturday and having sunday off for a bike ride…

I think that’s a win

I’m sure I’ve said ill attend a ride-out before, and not turned up, so I understand if you scoff, but I think I’m up for this one. Been riding just over a year now.

Woozy has met me, had a mini ride cross town after Borough meet to Blackheath for tea. I’m also on a Vara 125, well maintained I hasten to add, new pads, seals and re-bled the brakes last week.

I think I have enough skill to feel safe riding in a group (peer pressure and exceeding skill limit to keep up etc…) Kinda grown out of the Vara now, and have bought the CD for theory and DAS. Going to get a Fazer S2 If/when I pass, great first bike eh?

So ill watch this thread later for feedback, and maybe ill see you tomorrow morning!

Question: Is there really going to be off road sections? I’m assuming you’re staying off the “M” roads for us L platers?

I also don’t know the cornerman system…“get reading then” I hear you cry… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
