Sunday 8th November - Early BoxHill start

You guys know where you going? An eta somewhere?

Be nice to meet up - dont want to join the ride as I am having to go easy for 300 miles apparently (on new bike :)) - and I know I would be temptd to get nearer to that red line than I am supposed to!

cool…so what did you get then?

Followed Joby’s advice and testroad a CBF1000…liked it so much, I bought it

So I can’t be rude about Honda riders anymore

(Would have prefered the Fazer 1000 - but mental bike so figured best wait til been on a 1000 for a while - plus insurance was a bit silly - and very expensive)

look forward to see what mischief you get up to on a thou

Get in. This is outstanding. You’ll never look back and you meet the nicest people on a Honda.

Can we meet the lady with the flowery tree on the back then please???

Showoff

Was probably going to end up in brighton around the 11/11:30 mark…? Unfortunately this is going to be a bit freeform so can’t give anything more accurate than that…

Sorry Elad, going to have to drop out i’m afraid, mrs is very sick, so i’m no 1 on the domestic front at the mo:crying: You guys ride safe & have a good one;)

Errmmm, how do you cook a roast & what does the washing machine look like:w00t:

No problem dude, hope the missus gets well soon.

Roast - Get a takeaway from the local pub.
Washing - Take it to a laundromat and get them to do a service wash.

Easy

OK Guys it is very dependent on which forecast one looks at as to whether the weather is going to play ball (Wish it was like it was today… :crying:)

But everyone keep your eyes peeled, I will post a message on here at 7:00am as to whether this ride is going ahead. Will also PM you lot my mobile so that you can check.

As said before, if there is even drizzle I wont go out

Sorry guys - wet and miserable out there, I’m staying in bed!!

Shame as it was perfect yesterday…

Pity, but I’m not too disappointed! Mmmmm…sleep!

Bloody weather !

Bloody Elad more like…

Only got to sleep at 4am so wouldnt have made this anyway.
Hopefully we’ll get some decent weather before it gets too cold for long runs.

Looks quite nice outside now!

I thought you’d crack and ride it before the Spring!

Stay indoors and polish it

And your bike.

Looking forward to seeing man and machine in perfect harmony

It was quite a nice day for a ride in the end, we had a whizz round a few lanes after the Ace Remembrance Day service. Didn’t see a drop of rain at all in 160 miles in Hampshire, Middlsex, Oxfordshire or Berkshire!!

Lol - went out on Saturday  - To be honest - new bike takes a bit of getting used to, but nothing to worry about. Can defo tell it’s heavier though at low speeds. :w00t: Am being very conservative at junctions at the moment!

Sounds cool!

I stayed in and did the MotoGP news! Pity about Casey’s DNS! :frowning:
