Sorry about the fukkked up weather forecast making the post a bit funny but here is the link to last year’s visit:

http://londonbikers.com/forums/1005728/sunday-14.4.13–20-degrees?PageIndex=1

The cornerman system will be in use, Andy shot a great video demonstrating it on this very ride last year, watch this if you don’t know it:

Norfolking chance of me making Diss for a 9.30 departure from the Ace, or is there?

LOL, See yer there

Look forward to seeing you Desmond.

OK, see you at the pre-arranged secret meeting point. We’ll carry copy of MCN and wear a carnation on our lapel to identify ourselves;) Might just be us and Brains on this mission:cool:

The Butts, Debenham well worth a detour, just 13 miles south of Diss on the B1077

You forgot to mention the colour of the carnation

Good job you mentioned that as we now realise carnations aren’t in flower just yet. Call it a red/yellow wallflower and we have mission accomplished:Whistling:

That’s a plan, to avoid any confusion or coincidence

I’ll carry a rolled up copy of last months Bike magazine displaying a little white ‘WAITING ROOM COPY, please do not remove’ label

Have a good day out :). I’m having my suspension set up for first time in 13 years of riding

arh shite, one of to my favourite rites to my home county!

Have a fun ride you lot!

If you see a local, be sure to give them a high six

Bit too early for us. Have a great ride

For some reason best known to my mental health nurse, I’m currently stood in a field; cold, wet, covered in mud and horse crap and supposedly working. You have no idea how much more enjoyable the thought of being on the bike (anyone’s, it doesn’t have to be mine!) riding to Norfook sounds right now !!!

Hope the seaside fish and chips are good

Home safe.

Thanks for another excellent ride, gave me an opportunity to find leaks and lose bolts following my first DIY service. Nice of the police to clear the A12 from Chelmsford to the M25 for us:Whistling:

Is your camera was working?

R

Yes, but I only kept the footage after lunch when we rode the moat.

Just got back.

Thanks to those who kept our company, Desmond, Robert as far as Newmarket and John from Saffron Walden to his home and a welcome cuppa and tour of the estate.

We stopped for fuel, coffee and a wee at Newmarket where Art took the opportunity of some casual philandering. :w00t:

On then to Diss and the Waterfront Inn.

Where John felt a picture of us with a mobility trike was fair game.

John drinks a toast to Rusty. :Whistling:

Lunch.

The view.

Food. (Excellent low price menu has vegetarian options too)

Some signage.

Some urban poultry.

After lunch the group was “Taken up the Butt(s)” on the way back to Johns secret hideaway, somewhere near Colchester which is in the east of England.

After visiting chez John, us and Desmond did the A12, fortunately a rolling road block gave us 20 miles of race track.:stuck_out_tongue:

What a fine day, dry sunny and a right laugh.

Now let`s wait for Desmond to post the Butts, farm track video.

Looks like you had a cracking day over there, and one of Norfolk’s finest holding you all up on the way home. A Lotus no less, (Lots Of Trouble Usually Serious). I’d still of bought one years ago if I could of afforded it.
