Depart the Ace 9.00am seems like 10.00am as the clocks go back.
Quick trip to Wales and back.
Lunch, hills and sheep.
No nobbers, welly boot wearers, 125s, Harleys, double white overtakers or wimps.
Any takers?

Back on track…
I’m in. :w00t:
Good man, we have a tailgunner, do you know Wales is?
Would have loves to come for this trip. Never been to Wales Got asked the other day by an American tourist if it was closed on Sunday’s.
Shall be answering stupid questions like this instead as I have to work. Will try my hardest to get the shift swapped.
Yes, wherever the leader wants it to be.
Now Wales is open on Sundays.
Open All day? On a Sunday??? Since when? I will be taking Pater out for his birthday, so I won’t be able to bail even part way through on this one :crying:
I’m thinking the aforementioned American tourist may have been referring to ‘The 1881 Closing of Wales Act’
Background …
Wales was closed on Sundays by Act of Parliament from 1881 until the 1960’s. During the 1960’s, later becoming known as The Swinging Sixties on account of Mr Snow not being able to keep his swinger under proper control, the Voting Age was lowered, Free Love was made available by way of a pill on the NHS and Sex, Drugs & Rock n Roll ruled the night. All of this proved to be more popular than the Temperance Movement of the day and Parliament eventually relented to public demand and The Act was repealed.
Although some of the more northern parts of Wales remained closed on Sundays for many decades later. Eventually, c1999, the Temperance Movement was firmly but fairly kicked into touch when they drank Cardiff Arms Park, The Prince of Wales and every other licensed establishment in the country dry. Whether this was in celebration of the dawning of the Age of Aquarius or the birth of the Bangor Triplets Milly, Len and Ian to a drug induced mother remains speculative. However, Wales has remained open 7 days a week ever since.
Sadly I’m still without a mo’cycle and will be unable to join you on a sortie to the back yard of my fathers
Ride safe and enjoy the day.
Dog sitting duties  and no can’t take both with me on the bike or fend them off to someone else
I’m in will be my first jet stream ride out ,looking forward to it.
A trip to Wales will be a baptism of fire but you’ll love it!
It’s a maybe for now but working to make it a yes
That answers a few question. ![]()
Lagos is now officially Ebola free which is good news. Was a bit surreal - Lagosians have even stopped shaking hands such is the paranoia around it.
As for Mrs J - the feeling is mutual ![]()
You know I have resigned and am due to finish in January? Got a new job in Malawi from Feb…much more pleasant place, if a little bit quiet compared to Lagos.
Very nice with a trip to Wales, would love to come.
But i’m working all weekend, so will have to be another time
Wales or Austria. Let me think?
Should be in for this
