SUNDAY 25TH MAY 125 FRIENDLY RIDE OUT

Hey everyone, thinking of doing a 125 friendly ride out this sunday coming (25/5/2014) from Ace caf’ to H caf’. Route will be confirmed within a day or two. Just trying to get a general idea of who’d be looking at coming. Some nice twisties in there and pitstops for people to be fed and watered

Like I said, route to be confirmed very soon.

Cheers everyone

I should be up for this, depending on weather.

Coolio. Hopefully it’ll be nice

It’ll be awesome.
There will be twisty roads
Zig zag roads
Fast roads
Maybe even a gravel road

The ride is around 80 miles round trip (expect 100 miles) and there will be big dirty burgers half way

I’m probably up for this again, and I’ll see if I can drag any 125ers out, too.

On the other hand, one of them’s got his test this week, so I might be dragged out on a faster ride…

I’d be up for this

May well be up for this. Could never resist a half-way burger

I’d be up got this too. Depending on what time u planning to leave Ace

Excuse the Stupid question…

Where is H Cafe?

I may be up for this one if i don’t have to look after my Mum’s Dog for the day as she is out and the dog needs walklng etc.

It’s a bit south of Oxford. I’m not sure if the ride includes a return - 100 miles is either a really wiggly way there or a relatively direct there-and-back - but I’d be going back to approximately the ace afterwards and it’s only a couple of roads to the A40 anyway.

lol.

My mums dog is a 13 year old Staffie, think that would scare the life out the poor girl

+1 to that question. (now answered)

I may be in (weather dependent - that weather factor, again!) but it’s also my birthday weekend starting Friday so I have no idea how much of a mess ill be in! :w00t:  :smooooth:

I also like the kind of riding when you have time to glance at the scenery and not just a whooshing swathe of coloured lines… so 125 friendly suits me fine.

I thought H’ s cafe was between Canterbury and Dover.

Do you have a start time in mind at Ace yet? I am working but could try and get out early

Nooooooooooo, this is The H Cafe halfway between Oxford and Wallingford junction A4074 Oxford Road and A415 Abingdon Road.

funny enough, that’s also called H cafe

If you post some times up I might see you at the H, I’ll be out and about

Possibly, if weather’s kind

Right then
My initial plan is to leave Ace at 10:00 and take a route to H cafe (abingdon) of around 70-75 miles with a ride time of around 2:00hrs allowing for the inevitable “i gotta pee” stop!
Dirty great burger for lunch and then a more direct (non motorway) route back to Londinium of around 60 miles.

I will post a route up later tonight when I get home. I tried to do it at the office but 1996 called and want their internet connection back.

So far the weather looks to be ok but, if you see Noah float by on his ark Sunday morning, dont expect to find me at the ace! :stuck_out_tongue:

I was probably a bit off when i said 100 miles, its more than likely to be around 140
