250 miles. A little chilly, lots of fog Beyond Colchester, but skies clear should be a great day.
:w00t:
Beautiful photo. A great to be alive in this great world picture…
We’re in. I’m feeling much better than I was. Speedos packed in the hope that it is warm enough for a dip - but we might have to skip off a little early afterwards
sigh
No babysitter found.
Enjoy the ride.
Think I might take the kids to the beach.
First time I watched the sun rise (and first time over the sea), in a very long time. Something I actually planned for this morning. Beautifully awesome sight, that pales you into insignificance.
It’s amazing how far cameras on phones have come.
You all missed me in my Speedos
Was it as bad as me in my muffs:D
The bulge in the muffs were the levers:P
How to confuse a rideout … leave them heading in opposite direction to them … then ride past them again in the opposite direction further down the road they are taking … he he he …
Looks like someone forgot about the tail gunner
lost you all around reading, so followed signs to reading but still no luck.
Heading home now so thanks all for great day
It was a great day out. Thanks Jetstream.
Well that was a ride an a half. Loved it. I’ll post the route later. Great to see Ricky and Sheri again like the old days. Corner marking was pretty seamless and a good time was had by all.
What can I say, another great Mr Jet day, 310 mile door to door, loved. Need more of these days. Great to meet new folks. First time I been out for biker run, and folks end up taking a swim. Great stuff…
Had a great day, thanks for arranging Jetstream!!
Sorry we lost you tail gunner, got to a roundabout that wasn’t marked and went straight.
Awesome to see Ricky and Joby again and great to meet some new faces.
Thank you all for coming along.
Extra thanks to the tailgunners, Tim (hope Janey is feeling better), Ricky and Tom (sorry the team abandonned you near Reading, they should be ashamed of themselves.:P)
After picking up the elusive Ricky in Ascot, we M4`d it to Newbury and encountered a fresh chippings on the A4 as far as Hungerford. Normal service surface was resumed and we made good time to Subway in Devizes.
Brian and Ricky compete to get a place on Sherrie`s “perve register”.
Tim left us only to reappear like the ghost of Christmas past.:w00t:
We made our way to Weston Super Mare a seaside town in Somerset secure in the knowledge that Ricky was gunning our tail.
Beer, baked potatoes, panninis, just like the continent.
Brian and Sue were so convinced they got their kit off.:Whistling:
Then we came under friendly fire from a B17.
Back through the Cheesy Slit and Salisbury plain to Amesbury where we displayed our riding gear.:pinch:
Great day out guys. Thanks a lot everyone. Sorry Tom we lost you. I think a bit of drag racing took over the memory side of our brains
Oh and filtering on M4 at 70mph is a bit too early for me. Need to raise one more kid
Great day guys n gals, thanks to Chris for leading the way
nice to see some old faces and seeing some new, until the next time…
Kids, eh? :hehe:
Forgot to say, thanks Jetstream for organising!
Hope to see some (if not all) of you on the next one!
