Sunday 19th Jan in memory of Oscar, Joe and Noel.

I am in, just hoping not to end up like this.

be rude not to but who knows what tomorrow will bring

If I said we’d never lost anyone it would be an exaggeration of the truth. However we’ve never lost anyone in water, Edgard came close on a slippery ramp at White Notely.

He almost made it back out on the same ramp

But it was not to be, we spared his pride by fishing him out before anyone could take any photographs of him sitting on his arse in the River Brain

no nobbers? aw.

Made it half-way to the Ace, got a call asking if I could help a friend with a broken washing machine…she has small children so that took priority :-|. Enjoy the ride!

Could she not use the bath for them, like everyone else? Probably safer I would have thought?

Just got home, little snowflake on the dash said it was 2deg knew it was staring to get cold.
Fun day out in the mush  glad I had the beast…

Was great shame I had to go home.
Thanks Jet for great roads and rest for great company.

Well what a great turnout for January.

Thanks to Blade and Boris for sharing tailgunning duties.

Still lots of muds and floods, the Thames at Henley was impressive.

Good to see Rusty out on his new GS, perfect bike for the conditions till it started vomiting oil.:stuck_out_tongue:

Stopped for coffee and a wee at the community shop and coffee outlet in Hampstead Norrey`s.

Then after losing half the pack in Newbury and meeting Geoff we assaulted Penton Mewsey duckpond.

Before lunching in Andover at the Southampton Arms.

Rustys new GS before its catastrophic oil loss.:w00t:

After lunch we proceded to Stockbridge en route for our second ford of the day, unfortunately some complete nobber was low on fuel and our search culminated north of Salisbury.

So a new route was concocted, Marlborough, Hungerford, up the Wantage twisties, back down the B4494 and home on the M4 in homage to Joby.:pinch:

It was great meeting new faces, thanks Jets for organising the ride-out and thanks to Boris for tail-gunning. And many thanks to Art for the tape.

thanks Jetstream for a fun day out in the sunshine, and thanks to the two tail gunners for keeping there eye on the ball, even when I tried to loose half of you in Newbury, think I need to go to spec savers, but I’m blaming the mud and crap on my visor, and the sun for blinding me. :D:D till next time peeps ride safe.

Thanks Chris… another great ride… nice to meet some new members as well as seeing old… yeah good day that, well afternoon anyway, for me

Brilliant choice of roads; stunning scenery with lots of progressive twisties. Great company, nice to meet you all. Good pub choice too. I had a great time.
Thanks again Mr Stream, you ford whore.

Good pics … Did someones motorcycle get sleepy ?

Slight adverse camber, and a side stand in a small pot hole me thinks :ermm:

:D:D:D

did no-one remind Boris that he needed a #2 crew cut or to dye it grey for this ride?

hmm, maybe that’s why you put him at the back.

thats how I park my bike :hehe:e

the edge of a tiny pothole tilted the sidestand back and down went the bike behind my back.

Rusty… GS… WTF!!!

Your supposed to be getting ready to not take it easy upon retirement… Not admit your old with a GS!!
