So we feel the winds of change flowing around our lovely English coastline and fancy a bit of fishy and chips lunchtime action in an Easterly direction. We will be setting off from the Ace at 9.30 am and will meet anyone who fancies it at Thurrock services. Be there 10.15 in the petrol station for a 10.30 Thurrock launch. (NB - please have a full tank at setting off points)
No nobbers, no 125s or Harleys as usual.
Full day out, back before dark, ride at your own risk as usual.
Cornerman system will be enforced, find it at at the top of the Rideouts section if you are not familiar with it.This will be a ride full of culture for the cultural massive.Loads of photo ops, a ford, a petrol station, a lovely town and the seaside await all comers.Charles Dickens was here before us and wrote that he had :“purposely dwelt upon the romantic side of familiar things”. And some remarkable things do happen i Bleak House, - One character, Krook, smells of brimstone and eventually dies of spontaneous human combustion, attributed to his evil nature.Though he was by all accounts a knober of the first order. We were thinking of ice creams at the delectable family shop overlooking the Bachanalian Bay.:)Any questions?
I have not been around long enough to make a Newb night at the Ace, but I am up for a ride out!!! Been riding in the cold and wet all through winter so a nice sunny day would be a welcome change!!
Been on a few small group rides, but only 5 of us at the most…
If my missus doesn’t have any plans for me, is it ok for me to come??
Not really a fan of Charles Dickens, preferred Harold Robbins :DProbably why I failed English Literature O level :rolleyes:However if I can keep the bike clean(ish) would like to come ;)BrgdsMartin
