The lanes of Hertfordshire proved challengingly icy so we stopped for a well earned coffee in Buntingford.

After a short debate we executed sixteen point turns and headed for Sutton where we washed our boots prior to lunch.
Then home via Bedford, Hitchin and a little ford.
