Well that was a good old Sunday bimble… did go a bit off piste as I was on my own and found some great biking roads. Went through the Ashdown forest, pooh sticks came to mind, truely beautiful countryside and views. Stopped at Wessons cafe for a spot lunch then onto Beachy Head stop for a photo like you do. Birling gap next stop for the obligatory 99. Followed the coast road past Seven Sisters coutry park another beauty spot and all the way along to Brighton. Up to Devil’s Dyke on the down, Henfield, Billinghurst and to Box Hill, where it was nice to meet up with Martin for a cuppa and chat… yeah was good, enjoyed myself today:)… few pics…

Can you PM or post the route you took down to there from London? I’ve been thinking of doing that southern coastal ride for a while now and have googled a map, but it doesn’t seem a particularly interesting ride down. If you have a more scenic, meandering ride to share, which takes in minor and B roads, and isn’t too direct, great

Love the pics  Maybe we will get some more sunny days like that before the summer is out.
