Sun13 April "Old Trout`s" rideout - attempt 2

Not too early and probably not catering for 125s.:pinch: (125s can join a ride 30minutes later.:))

Depart the Ace 10.00am with a full tank and empty bladder.

Destination, a fishy delight in the heart of the Cotswolds.

Moderate pace, ride at yer own risk, watch out for mud and gravel.:Whistling:

Cornerman system will be employed in the unlikely event that more than three of you join us.

Probably 200-250miles of pure unadulterated fun and piscatorial delectation.:stuck_out_tongue:

Spoilt for choice now, decisions, decisions

I was toying with the idea of popping into The Ace this Sunday for ‘Mavericks Ace cafe Meet’ where the legend that is Delboy of Delboys Garage and his camera operative Penny Pitstop will be in attendance on their Triumphs, together with an expected turnout of 70+ members of the ‘Idiot Collective’ seeking steaming mugs of tea and cake. With the added bonus of an earlish 10:30am departure with TheOC for a ride through my back yard which gets me part way back home possible in time to hang some wallpaper in bedroom #3, possible not.

Mrs Art, who’s dithering about the ‘Lads n Lassies’, has a ‘purple cape fuchsia’ for Mrs J which I’ve been instructed to make room for in the tank bag.

The “Lords and Ladies” are not ready for disinternment yet,( so Mrs Art is under no pressure) but Mrs J is gratefull for all horticultural donations.

Anything in memory of Reena Steencamp is a bonus.:w00t:

Have fun, cant get there in time from Yorkshire so catch up with you soon. Cant belive Mrs Rosso has gone to Yorkshire for a weekend away on the bike, miracles do still happen.

How much Rohypnol did that take?

Enjoy my home county.

Im in…

Good man Alex, see you in the morning:)

Have fun and a great day in the Cotswolds - I know you will  Am on a jaunt from Box or would have joined you lot, especially as I have just cleaned the bike and the chain, so it needs some decent mud, torrential rain, fords and gravel

Stay safe and enjoy

Oooh, fords, had not thought of those:Whistling:

Have a good day Hels, see you soon:kiss:

Do you know where you’re stopping for lunch? Maybe text me if it’s a secret. I might come and meet you after Church.

Not long back from a lovely little jaunt with Martin and Jon, 8.30 start and back in time for chocolate and tea. Hope you folks had a great day out - I noticed the roads were fairly clear of traffic.

Hope you all had a good run. My clutch hand was cramping up on the way back from Church so I called it a day. Sorry Chris I didn’t get your voice mail till after I got home.

Great day out - big thanks to the Jetstreams.

Here is what Art missed - FISH

And if you want afternoon cake, don’t go here

The lesson is, of course, have your cake when you can. The promise of cake may not be fulfilled.

We found out that the reason the cafe at the Trout Farm was closed in November is that it is an outdoor cafe only. We will know for next time

I think we passed Martin (KTM Martin?) on our ride. I tried to give a little toot. He was a in a pub garden with two others, was one of them you Hels?

Lovely day … No time to take a picture of my dessert. It was too nice …

Thanks for the ride…

Nice to ride with Tug, Alex, Brian and Sue.

Sorry we forgot to mention the rideout was sponsored by Weightwatchers.

Bibury Trout Farm Cafe, tasty as it was, is now relegated to an ice cream stop. The seventh tree along the river opposite proved popular with the boys.

Good to see Lagos Bleu briefly at the Ace on the way home.

What no table cloth

Different Martin  Was me and my housemates. Unsurprisingly I have converted everyone I live with to either riders or pillions haha.

Oi, don’t call me a table cloth, I was babysitting. Lovely day for it:(
