Departing the Ace at 8am prompt.A bit of M1 then through the Peak District National Park, Matlock, Bakewell, Ladybower reservoir, Snake Pass, Glossop, Holmfirth, the yorkshire mill heritage trail to Squires Cafe, the epitome of northern motorcycling chic.:smiley:

Lunch and a chance to absorb the local colour, free instantaneous translations of the Yorkshire accent provided.

PM, a chance to filter down the A1 in the wake of our very own TDJ on his return to the Ace from his epic adventure.

no worries it has been a while since i have been up there and promised myself i would get there this year …

its not very scenic but twistie :wink: and If you need a brew Matlock Bath Fishpond is just down the road from teh start of via G
