So going to be in Southern Europe in July, and expect (unless global warming screws it up) it to be rather warm :w00t:
I have always worn leather or textile winter/summer but in the UK, and having spoken to a few people they reckon Jeans to be best.
I already have summer leathers, and there are quite a few brands of Kevlar jeans. Some interesting accounts of off’s too from
various cheap and expensive brands.
Trouble is, the pace will probably be brisk to say the least and I’d rather be safer than sorer.
At the end of the day it’s your decision… kevlar jeans are fully armoured and are strong enough and cool in high temperatures. Becareful of the really heavy draggin jeans cos some of them can be worse than leathers.
Where we are going Russ in July it should be in the 80’s-90’s :smooooth:
Summer trousers - part mesh with leather on the important bits, with something to go underneath for those early morning mountain passes when it can be a bit nippy.
And waterproofs. It can rain in S. Europe much harder than it rains here, especially in summer.
I was in Southern Germany last year in temperatures up to 32 degrees. I wore leather trousers and a summer textile jacket which zipped together. I just drank lots of water
