Summer gloves

After a pair of summer gloves, any1 know anywhere doing good deals etc?

Dont wanna pay shltLoads.

Wots out there people?

I think you’re a few months too late…I tend to buy kit for summer in October or November

You could always have a bimble up to Peterborough for the BMF show, or wait until June when the Garden of England show is on in Maidstone

Infinity are doing good deals on joe rocket gloves at the mo.

I bought a pair of AlpineStar summer gloves at NEC but just can’t get on with them:angry:

If you have big hands make me an offer:cool:

They are 3XL

I wear a pair of alpinestar smx gloves on hot days.

They are cheap too. Pairs on ebay for £45 or the Octane gloves which I wore for a few years and were even cooler in the heat of the day for £35

if you read throught the prise section henry got a good deal on gloves and so did i,we got the richa top gp gloves from alex and john at rex judds, not sure where you are but them 2 always do good deals on things so i can gather from the praise section.
worth ago if its not to far to travel,i dont go anywhere else now for bike kit.

Don’t forget JonnyZero at Infinity Hangar Lane, he will help you out

I’ve had these before. They do look nice, but my experience was: don’t expect them to last more than a summer and don’t try to wash them or they do a combination of falling apart and turning to the consistency of crispy cardboard.

(And I don’t think £45 is cheap for flimsy gloves that don’t last. Plenty of other makes do fairly identical gloves for at least a tenner less)

im sellign my old summer gloves if yer interested. used them about 4/5 times. Want £15 for them.

+1 Excellent Service

My experience is a little different. The Octanes lasted me three summers and the SMX were dusted off for their second summer this weekend. I always have a pretty light grip; I don’t know if that would make much of a difference though, unless you are throttling the life out of your grips?

Maybe I got a duff pair. But once exposed to water (in the form of rain, or of being washed) mine went all crispy and the velcro around one of the wrist closures came off.

I’m not saying A-stars summer gloves are any worse than anyone else’s summer gloves. Every pair of summer mesh-type gloves I’ve had have been fairly flimsy (which is why I’ll generally buy cheap ones rather than A-stars ones, since they all end up in the bin too quickly).

just bought a pair of black richa sports summer leather gloves for £55
simple, good protection, well made and comfortable so far

my gloves are quite good and only 14 quid ,

currently only have one though seen as when my mom visted on the weekend andshe tidied the other one away …

and i dont know where :s

Think I found them

Runs for cover

LMAO :D:D

I would definately recommend Alpinestars SMX Air Carbon Gloves. Really comfortable and very cool. £54.99

Richa Summer gloves here, well vented, but still decent protection. Nice long cuff though, as I don’t like short cuffs on my bike gloves, exposes your wrist for nasty road rash… Cost me £32 from AyeGee’s in Welling.

Yo spamity - are the Richa gloves winter or summer gloves? I’ve not seen or tried them on, but have seen the gp glove on ebay for £50…looks like it might be between the Richa GP or the Alpine Stars for me…

i think thats is his website cbbuzzer is his shop i believe i did have a link to it but i have lost the bit of paper.they seem like the ones at that price,he also has alpinestars,he had 700 pair of gloves in stock when i was in there 2-3 weeks ago.
