I’ve got a 10 year old bike, and image has gone all the way out the window with heated R&G grips + muffs!
But i dont care - i see guys on lovely bikes and feel sad for a second, but when the stop at the lights and start slapping and shaking there near dead hands in order to get some life back - I just smile and insert my winter leather sheathes into the that warm, toasty and inviting muff… Mmmmm… mMMMM… YEAHHHH!!!
It’s funny how this thread progressed to talking about muffs and heated grips when the thread title reads: " without resorting to heated grips/muffs? "
Hmmm, I wouldn’t describe myself as Casanova (more Rudolph Valentino actually ) but I did end up in bed with one of them (and she was fit ) so I must have been doing something right! :DYeah Garret gonna ditch the cornflakes for the porage/porridge mate - the jocks must be onto something seeing as it’s always brass monkeys up there. :)Yeah Adz, I’ve gotta get my fingers into some lovely warm muffs mate, I’d like to try out a few different types and sizes before I make a final choice though . . . ;)
I had heated grips on the Hornet and they were fantastic - even got me down to Boxhill for rides out in December and January!! However, I don’t have heated grips on the Triumph because of the battery and despite wearing winter gloves and inner gloves have still been freezing, so, started researching and found this site:
So am thinking of investing in a pair of their battery operated heated inner gloves. Not sure if anyone else has used this, but could be well worth a shot?
Right went into Infinity Motorcycles in Gt. Portland Street today and got shown some Tucano Urbano muffs… I specifically asked the sales guy there about the issue of wind pressing on levers and he was adamant that these would not because (he starts to show me the design) they have a plastic bit at the front that keeps it in place…
