Well some lovely big burly men turned up last night with a white van and took my bike off for a mystery trip. For some reason known only to them they sawed off the mirror and left it on the drive for me to find this morning.
RIP Rayvn so close to your second birthday too :crying:
this is a standard black 675 with gold wheels rather than the SP right? SP’s are distinctive as it is, your paint scheme might make it a bit more noticeable hopefully
Sorry to hear it. No doubt in a container on the way to eastern europe by now. Feel your pain, in fact felt exactly the same pain a couple of months ago.
The police will do nothing, your insurance claim will take months and months to go through and your premium will rocket. Brutal but true I’m afraid, all part of the fun of having a bike stolen. I even had a freelance investigator (employed by the insurance company) come round to my house and interview me to make sure I wasn’t lying - which kind of makes you feel like the guilty party after all of that.
How was the bike secured out of interest, and what area?
PI: When did you last see the bike?
Me: Last night, when I locked it up.
PI: When did you realise it missing?
Me: This morning.
PI: Hear anything at night
Me: Nope… they were like ninjas!
lol, it wasn’t far off that mate - I think it’s mainly because the police can’t be arsed to actually go and interview anyone who has a motorcycle stolen so the insurance company send someone instead. The police were completely useless throughout this entire ordeal, and to cap it off now it’s the f***ing police who are holding up my claim because the insurance company is still waiting for their report.
A white one of these was recently stolen overnight in the carpark I use at work (W1U)
We actually had someone from the police come in asking about security camera’s we might have that could have seen anything, so at least someone is looking into things I guess.
