Stolen R1

Just received this from a mate at work.

My Mate Habib had his Yamaha R1 stolen from out side his flat in Tulse Hill
in the very early hours of this morning (between 1am and 630am) if any one
hears any thing or “knows” the sort of person that would dp this in that
area please let me know.

Ok its a 2003 Yamaha R1 Reg plate is EU04 TPX the bike is mint apart from a
small scuff mark on the belly pan where it was knocked over a day ago. It
has a black Carbon Akrapovic end can R & G crash protectors on the engine
and bar ends and fluresant yellow wheel trim stickers. very individual bike
.

Cant post the pics as theyre too large

Please keep an eye out for it, and we can do a “Barro” on them

Another one ? Sh*t, at this rate I wouldn’t be surprised if no insurance company will provide theft cover for a non-garaged R1/6 in london come next year

Happened to me trying to insure a 6 year old ZX-6R 3.5 years back when I lived in NW10, I tried EVERY insurance co listed in MCN/biketrader & not one would even quote me a silly figure TPFT for it despite full no claims etc. could only get TPO cover 'cos it was on the street overnight, yet the year before I had no trouble getting it covered.

A pain mate. sorry to here about your buddies bike been stolen.
A few months ago some little scrotes tried to rob my mates gixer750 and they coudltn get it started so they burnt the bloody thing completly. little beggars.
