Stolen R1/ R6 - Police in pursuit

Can’t believe what I just saw… Was outside work having a fag with some colleagues ie and heard this alarm go off but it was increasing in intensity… next thing I know I see a black mint R1 or R6 (not sure what) being ridden with a scooter exactly next to it and another following… As they went by the alarm faded and it was clear that the alarm was from the bike… This was on Tooley Street…

However they were unlucky as there was a police van at the traffic lights on Bermondsey street and the moment they saw them go past, they put on lights and went after… just saw from my window now a second police jeep with lights go in same direction…

I really hope they catch the scum and retrieve the bike…

Couldn’t get any more detail as the angle I was at did not allow for me to see the licence plate… :frowning:

I run to the street but by that time both jeep and bike had dissapeared…

Can’t be sure that both scooters were involved but they both looked identical - black sh125s I think with top box that really you would not associate with shitty kids out for the nick…

Blimey London Bridge area is a nightmare, glad I don’t work round there! Hope the police catch them!

Can’t be sure that the bike was stolen from this area but yes even before this, does seem to be a hotspot…

Which makes me wonder how my bike survived 8months with just a disclock…

Pan: before you think about posting something in the lines of: The GSR is crap I want you to know… I beat ya to it!

wonder if was nicked for the german jap place just down the rd.

I’m just round the corner, very glad i have secure parking!

A workmate had some chavvy kids try to smash the disk lock from his honda fireblade (must have been 10 years old) 6 months back or so just round the back of guys hospital - they didn’t manage to remove it but they did a good job of fucking up his brakes and he had to cut the lock off with a stihl saw.

if worked around their prob get a c90

I’m not sure that would help

why is it we work hard for the nicer things in life when some are’nt prepared to do so and get away with it most of the time.have we workers got the wrong idea?

Break steering lock, propel by scooter… it’s a very common method.

VERY!

remove ya pillion pegs, that slows em down a bit.

even better fukck locks, get a cobra tracker.

i had an attempted theft of my BLACK r6 the other month, i work around corner fro tooley street. Funny enough, 3 lads on 2 mopeds !! no doubt the same crew !

I live around the area and my mate has a c90. Some kids were trying to steal that the other day…
