Bike stolen from my supposedly secure underground car park - E16.
KTM 990 sm LJ09 TXD
5 hours of CCTV footage of 3 white lads and a white renault traffic van.
Nicked a bike from the block opposite the day before.
Police dealing but don’t hold up much hope of recovery.

Almax chain. In a secure underground carpark. Took them 3 hours to get it out. Cunts.

at our old place in Bromley we were burgled, cleaned us out of the little we had. they lifted the roof off the conservatory to get in. took the f*cking roof off!
maybe it’s just me but i suspect if the police can’t start catching people soon then there will be some ‘alternate’ justice handed out.

If they’re happy to sit under CCTV for 3 hours then they’re obviously pretty confident that the police won’t be a problem during or after. Especially if they’re returning more or less to the scene of the crime from the day before.

sound similar to a customer of mine who had a very trick 990 SMT stolen.
his was also in an underground car park, i said on another thread an Almax wont stop the determinded.
a mate of mine recently nearly had his R1 taken but he ran out with a bat, 4 of them against one…not a good idea, they returned later that night and tried to kick his front door off…
but the bike had already been moved to elsewhere;)
Nightmare, sorry for your loss. Get a BikeTrac next time - basically, the situation in London seems to be so bad these days that without additional protection, we’re stuffed.

Sad to hear of your loss. CCTV footage is useless if the f*cking authorities aren’t interested. It’s like a thieves playground in this country, they all know they can get away with it and all of europe know it. Unfortunately your bike is probably in a container on its way to eastern europe right now - and that’s not a sweeping generalization, it’s more than likely true.
Do you mind if I ask where exactly in E16 was that?
