Was at Stockley Park last night just being a bit ‘lost’ and therefore having to go roudn the roundabout a few times…cough

Boy in blue turns up with a dog car, stops me and talks away, he said that if I didnt want my bike confiscated then I should stop coming to this roundabout, as there are cameras and they are able to give number plate information to the DoT and they can pitch up at my door with a warrant to confiscate my bike, and I will never get it back.

This sounds very iffy to me, can anyone in the know confirm whether this is possible, or was it just a scare tactic…?

If he was getting his left knee down, I can fully understand why they stopped him - he would have been going the wrong way round the roundabout!

To practice wheelies would mean I actually have to ride my bike - been out twice in the last 2 months

Its a lovely roundabout I think you were a lil unlucky as I have been there a lot in the last 3 months and never been pulled (touch wood) not sure if the boys in blue and inforce what they told you but even if they can’t its not really worth the hassle is it

Yeah I am a bit worried now as i have been there loads recently, but this was the first time I had been pulled, so will definitely have to find another one…it was getting a bit too busy anyways.

Hehe right only, too busy for left, altough got it down the other day coming onto the southbound M11 at junction 5…nice 270 deg leftie there!!

This is a beauty, it’s at Loughton getting on the M11 heading into town. It’s up a shallow incline coated in the extra grippy stuff (can’t remember what its called) and is well worth a visit in the dry

Shame about Stockley nice big roundabout, and the few times I’ve been there it’s been clear.

Ewell is close(ish). You want Horton Lane. There are about 8 superb ones of various sizes.

Just be careful in the rain eh (blush).

Hmmm, haven’t been down there for a while and I haven’t had a KD in a while. Slight detour on the way home methinks!

I was on form last night as well, I reckon I would have got it down if we had been left alone

The snitch is always gonna be the guy sitting in the security hut so if you go there and outstay your welcome (or wake him up) he will call you know who keep it short and sweet and keeping back

To get back to the opening question, surely they could never take your bike off you unless they proved it was unfit for the road.

But they could use video evidence to convict you of any crime you were committing, if any.
