had new bikes before but these stickers they put on the tank about reading the manual before operating and using the right petrol there must be a easy way to get them off i picked em off my R6s but the R1 it aint happening anyone???
i just took one off using a hairdryer to heat it up first. it wasn’t all that easy to remove still, but at least it was easier to pick bigger bits off when it was warm.
stupid stickers too, it’s like the warnings one KP peanuts - “may contain nuts”, no shit.
and by “heating it up first”, what i actually mean is “heating it up a number of times as i could only get little bits off before it cooled down again”
It’s easy to remove mate, just get a hair dryer and warm it up a bit so you can peel it off easily.

On the tank you may experience that some of the glue will stay stuck on it. Don’t worry, I used WD40 to remove it but you can do with some warm water and a cloth, either should do without harm to your paintwork. Just make sure you spray the WD40 on the cloth and remove it completely after.

actually, those types of stickers are much easier to peel off than the white and orange “omg don’t ride pissed!” warning stickers.
Hey Flat…hows it going mate, I know what you mean about those fking things, I just had a fight with the ones on the R6 you saw up at the Cafe the other night. I had a right time of it only for a mate of mine to turn up right at the last knockings and dip a soft cloth in the Tank, hold the Petrol soaked cloth against the stickers for 5 mins and then rubbed them off with his thumb !!!, they fking went to mush in no time. Took a little bit more to clear the smears off with some more Petrol and then to polish the Tank but “Job Done” mate. !!!
Ceazars hairdryer solution sounds better though !!!..“Derrrrrrrrrrrrrr” didnt think of that !!!
Try this, Pick magority of the sticker off if to difficault use a hair dryer, then you have the goo left, Get mr sheen & and soft cloth and give a good rubbing, SORTED!!
ill have go at all of them summings got to work cant leave them there they sheeite…
Cezar, please tell me that the 1500W turbo is Maddy’s, not yours!
lol, paivi! Do I look like I have one of those? Only she doesn’t know I use it for those things… lol
if you can find someone who works in a bodyshop and get some stuff called “panel wipe” its a solvent based thingy that doesnt harm paint like petrol can, and use same method
ps nice pic of hairdryer
