if I wanted to cut my end can off and have an insert fitted to what’s left of the exhaust to quieten it down a bit, would that be possible?
just spend some £££ and get a rc30 end can and link pipe for a LH fitment…then you’ll have the cool look of the single sider and retain the V4 sound as it should be 
ah this isn’t for the VFR it’s another project. I want what look like open pipes but without annoying the neighbours
which bike is it for would help thinking out the possibilities and anything is possible with some time and monies just need a custom pipe builder or someone handy with metal work and a mig or tig welder to make something up test it and get bike jetted to suit
