Stealing speed is a cult classic book written by Mat Oxley about how the Japanese bike factories stole the secrets of 2-stroke race bikes from East Germany. The paper copies sell for ridiculous amounts (it’s cheaper to buy a kindle and the e-book copy!). Required reading for anyone interested in bike history.
