Combination of exercise and eating well, only real way I guess… Like the gym, get the headphones on and ‘iron’ away the cares of the day. Also cant stress Yoga or Pilates enough, its the best for yer body, it really is. Choose one or the other, I prefer Yoga, but its a personal thing. Do it 2 times a week and after 3/6 months you will feel like a new person.
I’m trying to get into yoga, I’ve been to Bikram Yoga a few times (yoga done a room that is 40 degrees :w00t: ) It’s blimmin hard work, especially on that heat but my skin feels fantastic!!
tried yoga once and couldn’t quite get the hang on staying awake! DOh!
so im in the gym on a regular basis doing lots of cardio and swimming. And weight training to help with my future career…woohoo!
maybe i should stop smoking? DOH!
I’ve done pilates. Only one session, it was very good but I haven’t been since.
sleep:P
LOL
You should write a book…maybe get an info-mercial
“Fitness: The Toby-1-Kenobi Way”
I used to go to the Gym twic a week - 3 times if it was a bad week… but goingon my own, with no real motivation and working in the ‘party hard’ drinks trade it all proved a bit too mch like real effort…
I must get back to doing SOMETHING i keep saying, but ive yet to work out quite what. Snowboarding is my big thing, just a little inconvenient for that hours work out in the city
well I do 200 lengths of 25m pool on mondays 1hour 30minutes, dance for an hour monday night… 300lengths on tuesdays if I can find the time 2hr 15. Wednesday is an hours swim training. Dance in evening if i can. Thursday dance at lunch time an hour, usually all the girlie steps…another hour swim training on Friday morning, game of squash lunch time, three hours dance practice then 3 hours drinking and dancing (nightclub) then a quick swim at 2 in the morning usually after a very unhealthy kebab and chips…
Saturday or Sunday evening go dancing for three hours…and during the day its either DIY, go kart racing…bloody hard work bike riding, tree felling, gardening and the ironing…thats hard work…
And I usually do a few weights each night before I go to bed…yes i know bloody sad…
like to do distance walks when I have the time too…30 plus miles in 8 hours or less…thats the usual target…tough…
I’m quite fit for a fat bird
I swim at the pool at work. I’m starting going again this week, not been since the BCW. I usually do 10-16 lengths in 30 minutes, depends how I feel but normally add 2 lengths onto the last number. The way I figure it, the water suspends my weight which is less impact on my joints. When I’ve toned up and lost some flab (not weight) then will start in the gym to tone up. I still have solid lower legs from all the bike riding I did as a teenager but I hate the tops of my legs :w00t:
I also walk from the camp accross the airfield to the a507 at least once a week. When I was training, I tried to do it at least 3 times a week.
I’m built for comfort not for speed (unless its horizontal jogging)
I use a combination of corsets, smoke and mirrors.

:hehe: Nothing wrong with your shape last time I looked ![]()

I go to the gym…5 nights a week. I lift weights on Monday and Tuesday…and Thursday and Friday. On Wednesday, I do an aerobics class with my wife and daughter.
I wake up every morning, sit up, and go- “ONE-TWO-THREE-HUPP”, and then go "ONE, TWO, THREE, DOWN. Then I do the other eye-lid!!

blimmin eck! How do you manage all that and go to work? :doze:
hehe good on y’all who are trying the pilates/yoga route, but have to stress that you have to go consistently, and for over 3 months to really get any benefits. No magic pill out there!!
The most difficult exercise of all.
It consists of shaking the head slowly from side to side at mealtimes.
Seriously, eat less crap and more veg, drink more water and less beer, use the mountain bike, don’t use the lift and do a few minutes exercise every day - stretches, crunches, press-ups. Result - two stone lost in six months.

With the amount of swimming you do, I take it you compete?
