http://www.george-and-dragon.co.uk/

Another good possibility for a stop

http://www.georgeanddragon.info/location.htm

Possibility of a start point.

Another goos place to consider starting from.

http://www.shepherdneame.co.uk/pubs/pubs.php/george_thames

So who’s gonna plan the route and check with the pubs re availilbity of parking etc ?

Pardon me for being forward, it’s only my third post on this site, but the G & D at Thames Ditton looks a great venue for a start point

Now your talkin!

This is my neck of the woods. Know sum stunnin roads round this area.

Can do a route if ya wants, with meetin point n stop offs etc etc.

Prolly be this years first ride for the old girl, bless.

Good place to start is The Deepmill diner on the A413 near Great Missenden.

Willl get the maps out n ave a gud sken.

Great, nice one Guy!

be our guest have look for a route i haven a clue

This sounds like it is shaping up to be a good ride out, with a bit of dragon slaying to boot anyone with some route planning knowlege post up your routes.

Can’t wait to at last celebrate st george’s day properly

And we will require a good start point possibly out of the smoke (london) that will give a nice ride up and ideally keep away from the motorways

looks like you had a top idea njs71

Surely, if the original post was anything to go by, wants to start in Frith street and govia Trafalgar square just to piss Ken Off

H

ewweee!!! am i up for this or what…!!!

count me in.

i vote starting from frith or the trafalger.

smiled.

Oooooooooooohh, your in for a treat.

Have had a look at the maps, got a route to suit everyone. hehe.

Those of you with a nervous disposition should pack a spare pair of pants.

Make sure all the following are in tip top workin order,

BRAKES, KNEESLIDERS, TYRE-EDGES. ANAL-RETENTION.

Don’t keep us in suspense, post the route.

Patience my child, all good things come to those who wait.

Got a few things to do with this route plan yet, but the main bones are there.

Andrew, do you know the Deep Mill Diner?

As I live out here in the sticks, (aylesbury) prolly easier to meet you up this end and then take the route from here?

Just hope I got the right Uffington nr Oxford.

To be fair, I won’t be able to make the 23rd April come round any quicker, no matter how hard I open my throttle. If your planning on meeting at the deep mill diner us townies could all meet up some where in smoke and meet you there. Isn’t the deep mill diner the one on the A413 before the bend under railway bridge nr the Texaco ? Used to use that road a bit, but haven’t been out there for years. By pass by halton now throws me off!

Yes Dan, You got the right place.

reckon I got a 200 mile round trip planned, there are some very challenging roads around the oxon/bucks border, and hardly any have our arch enemies hiding round the corner.

Not actually sure if Uffington castle has a cafe or restaurant, but Foxy’s diner at M&P Dorchester a few miles up the road is a proper bikers cafe. For the lunch stop that is.

sounds good just need to work out suitable start point for everyone?

cooooooooooooooooooooooooooool maybe a few meet points one in london for those who wish to and then maybe pick others at the ace then meet up with puppy up his neck of the woods who then can lead us to the place of said dragon slaying…

Bad news is I’m gonna in Cumbria at my Nana’s 90th birthday.

Worse news is m’parents are coming home with me to spend a few days here.

Blimey.

So enjoy urselves, I’ll be thinking about y’all as I remind Nan who’s who for the 100th time that hour.

Bless her

Does she ride, Andrew?

Blimey no, although she has been on the back of bike sometime before the war

Sad thing is that her memory has gone so come the day after she’ll have forgotten it.

This sounds like a proper plan coming together Shame you can’t make it Andrew, when duty calls though mate, family and all that. Myself and lad1 (Lee) will prob meet you guys at the Ace, quick cuppa then on with the ride, anyone any ideas what time we should leave the Ace? Can’t wait, hope the weather is kind to us…

Also anyone know where i can get a good size george cross temp decal to put on my bike.
