I always overtake cars on this stretch. I was waiting to see if the boys in blue were hiding behind their usual hedge… ---

I don’t want to appear as an easy target, but what do I do to avoid being targeted ? Reminds me of years back I knew a guy who cycled everywhere, and he had an aerosol air horn attatched to the handlebars of his bike - a bit louder than a bell shall we say. One morning was was cycling along and a couple of blokes in a car cut him up and shouted loads of abuse, for no apparent reason. A little further along the road was a set of traffic lights and lo and behold who should he catch up with ? Anyway they still had the window of their car open so he unhooked the air horn and stuck it in their window and gave a mighty blast. Apparently their faces were a picture ! ---

I’ve got a ‘friend’ and he uses his leg like a lance when pissed off by motorists, lines his boot up with the wing mirror and a quick blast of the throttle and away comes the mirror.
