Does anybody know if you can successfully spray Clear 2-pack lacquer over Cellulose paint.?

I have been spraying up some spare fairing panels to use for track-days and applied vinyl’s.
I am please with the result, so I was think of sticking them on the bike for general use and keep the crisp originals until I sell the bike.
Some of the vinyl’s are very fine and delicate so I was thinking of lacquering them to protect them to give them some durability.

Also if possible got to find somebody who can do it as well…

I’m pretty sure it’ll be fine. Will you be using plasticiser in it so that it flexes with the panel ? It’s also a UK requirement to use an air-fed mask. 2-Pack is particularly nasty stuff.

It will be fine. Put a light , fairly dry coat on first and let it flash off then lay on top coats.

+1 but be careful on the stickers as they must laquer over type.some have silicone in them and u may get fish eye, this is where the laquer seperates and leaves holes, like painting on oil.leave driying time between each coat {should be on the can} should be ok.
