Right…I’m off to the mailbox this afternoon…wicked cold and windy…grey…just a shite day…I open the box and what do I see?
A package addressed to me with a Royal Mail postage label on it!! :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:
I was stoked…ran inside to open it…and found a wicked cool Motorcycle mag and all manner of creams and sauces…complete with crib notes on which cream/sauce goes on which food. I’m off to round up some dinner to give a few of them a go.
Provided I don’t spend the remainder of the evening puking, I’ll be back to post my thoughts on the quality of said creams/sauces. :laugh:

Good luck fella, and remember…vinegar and sugar…all the sauces are just vinegar and sugar…but its amazing how they can all taste “slightly different”.

Thankfully we can get French’s mustard over here, otherwise I’d be on the horn to you for bucket’s of that…but funnily enough that’s ALSO just sugar and vinegar…
OK…I’m back…and the seismic events that seized up my guts last night seem to have passed. :sick:
I went to KFC and bought some baked chicken, a regular garden salad…and a basket of potato wedges (the closest thing we have to authentic “chips” over here…the fast food joint fries are the long and skinny kind.)
I brought a couple of salad creams with me…along with some malt vinegar for the “chips.”
Little did I know…I was actually most afraid of the look/texture/smell of the salad cream…but it was the malted vinegar that did me in…I may have even thrown up a little bit in my mouth. :laugh:
Malted vinegar is most definitely NOT fit for human consumption.
I had planned on doing a bit of shopping after dinner but decided that returning home would be the prudent choice after that condiment covered feast. Good thing, too as a rather large portion of the evening was spent camped in the facilities. At least I had the MCN magazine to pass the time. It’s brilliant…much better than any of the motorcycle mags “over here.”
Today is Thanksgiving here in the States…a day to spend time with your family while gorging yourself on turkey/ham/stuffing/mashed potatos/yams/green bean casserole/pumpkin pie/etc etc etc…maybe I’ll try some brown sauce on my ham…what’s the worst thing that could happen, eh?

(By the way, this is all for a laugh. Honestly, the salad cream wasn’t bad…but that malted vinegar was just FOUL!!)
