i know what you’re thinking you dirty dirty people…:D:D
Does anyone else suffer from sore wrists from riding a sportsbike?? Particularly the right one. I don’t grip the bars very tight, but i’ve been getting a lot of pain in my wrist. I commute 100 miles a day and now carry a rucksack on the back seat rather than on my back now, to try and ease the weight on my wrists.
Was thinking about going ‘streetfighter’ soon with drag bars, raisers,…more for medical purposes you see
just wondering if anyone else experiences similar??
I used to get sore wrists. Are you putting weight on them without realising it?
Probably teaching you to suck eggs here, but what worked for me was to consciously keep my shoulders and arms loose, grip the tank with my knees and take the strain with my stomach muscles.
I also adjusted my brake and clutch levers down a bit - my wrists were bent back a bit when using the controls until I tilted them down. Now there’s an imaginary straight line running down from my elbows to my fingers.
No more wrist pain for me after all that - hope it helps!
As 51 said, take some of your weight on your stomach…the sorer your wrists get, the more your change your riding postion to adapt. I use to courier on a bl*de at 1st after a couple of days of riding round town was in serious pain, soon learnt that spreading your weight over the whole of your body easys the pain.

No
Us dirty people have dirty habits to keep our wrists flexing well!
Dirty habits like playing squash and badminton. (What were you thinkng of, btw? :hehe:)
Try thicker wrap around rubber for the handlebars? The wider circumference helps. Worry is it sounds like you’ve set your wrists up for RSI on a fixed routine. Handlebar raisers might help. Or even a Harley? :w00t:
Weirdest thing about that pic above /\ is the huge golf clubs !
