Soft luggage?

Hi all. I’m looking to do a few days camping (on the bike) with my g/f. She rides and has a topbox and also tailpack but Ive only ever used cheap rucksacks til now.
Im looking for something I can sling on without bolting on frames etc. My bike is a naked. Had a look at the Oxford saddle bags but they dont look very big.
Any recommendations? Maybe something I can strap to the pillion seat? Pref cheap!
Cheers

I just bought a set of these. They expand to take suprising amount. Three pairs of jeans and a couple of t shirts in each one, more if you’re Alba’s size.

I’ve got some you are welcome to give a go, if you like em you can buy them off me, cheap. PM me and you can swing by on the way to work and pick em up in town.

Oxford first time luggage is brilliant for the price:

Got me through 5 days in Europe.

Kriega, excellent products have a look on their website, there is loads to choose from.

Cheers for the replies guys.
@Dave - that’s a generous offer. Thanks mate. Unfortunately Im already in work & away for the weekend.
I wouldnt mind having a look though. I’ll drop you a pm next week if thats ok?

i have some life time sport ones on my ntv (zx6r rear end fitted)

i bought them second hand for £20 from ebay and there good fit nicely on the sports rear end fit loads in them and they extent out.

there a bit droopy looking when extended but seem ok.

went to wales with them on had 2l of water in each incase my bike over heated, jumper cables, waterproofs jumpers and spear gloves and had loads of room left and they handed fine and stayed on of speeds up to 120ish (kph ofc XD)

Good suggestion Kevsta. I actually was consider some of their stuff. I like the fact they claim its all 100% waterproof.
Trouble is I dont know how much stuff I will end up carrying. I may have to sacrifice quality for size.
(Ooh err misses)

If you want to borrow a Kriega 20 tailpack let me know.

The Kriega stuff - very good quality - if they claim its waterproof, its waterproof. I use a 20 litre as a tank bag, and a R35 rucksack. Pricey but good.

Kriega is the best… have one US 20, two US-10s and an R35… Ok I’m not the biggest fan of the new hook system but I recognise it’s positives and for most bikes it’s prob a better system!

Expensive, but well worth it… treat yourself!

I have a couple of Kriega bits too and they are easily worth the money! I love the US bags and the tank-bag converter thing can be very useful if you’re taking a pillion, but I’m not a fan of the rucksacks so I’d recommend trying them first.

get the oxford ones, they hold a lot more than you’d think.

Just make sure you put everything in a binliner inside the bag and ignore the waterproof over covers that you get from oxford

Well, I’ve decided - B&B it is!

No, im joking lol. I think it’s agreed the Kriega stuff is “the dog’s” so may need to investigate further.
Tx for the offer Kevsta.
I think I’ll check out what KTMD has & see how much change I have left before deciding :stuck_out_tongue:

Niteowl. I have the same oxford lifetime ones as DTR_Ross. You’re free to borrow them for a weekend if needed. Also convenient for you to pick up as literally 2min from your job.
