so you want to get your knee on the deck...

ah sh*t ive been sussed, im off again… (piss off Afro an grow some hair lol)

Next time Nuts, I was at Ace but too tired to ride 40 miles home, let alone practice knee down sessions

Benny saw your bike, but didnt meet you, I guess you were with the riff raff ie Shewoolf and Adz, next time dude.

oi!!! who you calling riff raff

Abrasive black man…How original

Did the photos from this manage to come out ok???

I will do this again next week as long as the weather stays clear

Ace 7pm

I’m there if thats ok

i am riff raff and proud of it!!

I may come with ya too. Ive been trying and trying at a roundabout near me but just cant seem to get it right. Would be good to have someone watch me and tell what im doing wrong

my main advise… go faster

I’ve just remembered, I can’t do this. Company meeting in London followed by drinks and a evening meal. Personally I’d rather skip it and take the bike out as it will be boring as hell, but did that last time and I think they would take a dim view if I do it again. The meal has been book at TAS, Borough Highstreet so I will only be a stone throw away from BMM… might be able to make excuses and leave early, but almost everyone had gone home by 10pm last week.

i think i know where we can all go gatecrashing on wednesday now

If you want to take over I am sure the others would still like to do this.

I’d like to do this as am getting mildly frustrated now. I want some sparkin.

It’ll have to wait post holiday though.

eerrrrrrr i was thinking more on the line of dinner

ill be going again if your all still up for it. i can give some pointers which i’ve been told in the past and from nuts last week!!

benyboy

Any one going tonight? Ill be there for 7!

FFS people remember to be careful, it can’t be long before this current “I must get my knee down” vogue claims a casualty.

i) Don’t go past your comfort level of lean - this will increase with familiarity and practice, not by scaring yourself

ii) It is quite physical so stop when you get tired

iii) Think of how the poor sole who organises it will feel if someone bins it on their watch

iv) It isn’t really that clever. You will wonder what all the fuss was about when you’ve done it.

Good luck tho, and well done those who volunteer to instruct.

Can agree about no.4, but it was good trying.

I pretty much ride on my own most of the time, and get the bike lent quite far over, well, lack of chicken strips makes me think I’m quite far over, but knee seems miles away.

I just want the eyes of someone behind me to maybe give me a pointer, not to hit every round about with my knee embedded in the ground. Am not one for pushing the limits on the road.

Definitely agree with ii No 7!

Was on the case last night at Stokely roundabout, still haven’t managed it and to make matters worse, I’m aching today! feels like I’ve run a marathon yesterday

Does it get easier with practice?
