I have managed to purchase an sv650 minitwin, picking her up Tuesday night so I will be riding that at snetterton now.
you still have a road bike PJ or not?
I’m already booked into Snetterton 21st May with a few friends.
Just chatting with a friend who will be at this one. If there’s nothing else going on (ride out) and the weathers nice, I’m going to head up to watch things 
How does it work for spectators? Can they mosey round the pits?

Yeah. Its all pretty open and you can go across to the hill and get a really good view of the end of the start finish straight and all the way round that section of the track…so from turn 1 to about turn 6

A very interesting day indeed. Nice to a fair few LBers.
I got some great action photo’s of everyone in action… but then had my camera stolen 
I’m still not entirely sure what happened. The guys I was with say it was attached (Kriega US10 Tail Pack) as I left. I stopped for petrol at Tesco’s, no queue, no waiting, not many folk around, but it must have been taken off the back of the bike then. When I went back the guy checked CCTV and said it wasn’t there when I left. He says the ‘other camera’ isn’t too good, so he couldn’t see if I had it coming in.
I think I can claim on my home insurance (which funnily enough, is with Tesco) as I think I’ve covered up to £5k on gadgets outside of the house. (About £900 of camera in the bag )
So, all I’m left with are a few shots from my phone -

I didnt get to meet you properly until you came back hoping to find your camera
I am absolutely gutted for you. Its horrible to think there are so many bad people everywhere!.
Its a good reminder to us all to remember about opportunistic thieves. I imagine petrol stations are a good place for someone to hang around as people often leave their cars unlocked when they go to pay. I am definitely going to be more careful from now on…I usually never take my satnav off the bike when I go in to pay but I will make a point of doing it now.
Sorry you had your trip spoiled by that…and that all the photos you took wont be seen by anyone who cares!
I trust you have reported it to the police…I cant help but wonder if its not a coincidence that the camera wasnt working well etc…

Thanks guys, it looks like there might be a happy ending. I got a call back from the circuit manager at Snetterton. The bag, with camera and lens still in, was found somewhere outside and handed in. The only possible thing I can think is I didn’t secure it before riding off! So, I do feel an idiot. 
That’s what happens when you rush I guess. (I was enjoying myself so much, I lost track of time). I’m lucky and very grateful whoever it is out there that found it, handed it in!
The good news is, at some point I will hopefully still be able to get my pictures up of you guys. 
I have a variety of bookings at this point. The LB evening session at Brands on the 31st May, then Ron Haslam on the 5th June, then a full day at Brands on 27th June. I’ve promised myself not to book anything else yet, until I’ve been out and done at least one I will keep my eyes on this part of the forum though, so yes, hopefully join you all on the track soon.

Andy-can you recover your camera from either snett or brands? I pass brands every day on way to work, I will help if I can.
All the pics will get synced up to Google+, so you can browse through and see what I have Most of them are from the straight though. If I’d had more time maybe I’d have looked for other vantage points. 
I could cut you out, rotate you through 70 degrees and paste?
That would be awesome! They did say they could get it down to Brands for me. I need to call them tomorrow to see exactly what they can do.

My mate that went to Snett said he’ll be at Rockingham on Sunday, so that might be another option.
