It doesn’t have to be brown, but every home should have one as essential equipment.
Spent this morning with Il Bandito changing the chain and sprockets on his GSF650. It took for ages, needed a decent collection of tools*, a workshop manual and a a small brown stool.
Not having a workshop at present and never having owned a m/c lift, I was once more thankful for the small brown stool.
The damned job pretty much did for my shoulders but without the s.b.s I’d have been in serious sh*t with the lower back. Are bikes getting nearer the ground or am I living my name?
O.K. All praise the little brown stool.
Anybody else out there got often overlooked bits of essential kit like the .b.s?
*Thanks to whicheverLondonbiker loaned the chain spliter riveter. A nice bit of kit which I think I need to buy for the future.
