Slip on or Full System

Which would you choose and does a full system justify the money it’s worth? :hehe:

It depends what you are looking to gain. If it’s just a better look and sound then there is no point spending loads of money on a full system, plus you would need a Power Commander which will set you back another £250 ish.

Already wanting more power after taking off the restrictor? Must be enjoying it now then.

haha yeah it’s great to know you’ve got that extra power there to get you out of a situation

An exhaust system alone will not give anymore power that you will notice on road. If you wont more power get a bigger bike;)

What options would you have from the Busa then? Nitro?

Did it not pull much with the restrictor then? I don’t seem to have any problem with mine, still itching to take off the damn thing though.

A good exhaust system with a PC will add noticeable power and Torque. Also if you go for titanium there’s a huge weight saving over the stock exhaust, removing weight is like gaining horsepower plus it significantly helps in the bikes handling.

is a PC a must have tho? i always thought you could change teh exhaust system and dyno it to get it running right, re-map the ECU i think? PC are expensive! surely you dont aboslutely need it do you?

Now i’m no ECU expert and if i’m wrong then i’m sure someone will say so. To my knowledge direct re-mapping is only possible on some GSX-R models, the rest will need at least a PC or another fuel management system like Dynapro Interceptor, both will set you back over £250, they are expensive but you need them when adding a full system.
