Skiing Partner Wanted

I am going away between the 7th and 14th of March, and my skiing partner is not available to ski that week.

There are a couple of things that I will insist on if you would like to go.

1/ That I know you

2/ That you ski to a good standard.

If anyone is interested in joining myself, even if it is only for a couple of days, please PM me.

I’m going skiing the same week but as Asbo has already said…

  1. I don’t know you;
  2. I’m more than likely going somewhere completely different;
  3. I’ve never skii’d(sp?) before in my life, which will no doubt make me a complete liability on the slopes!! :w00t:

I can’t help you with 1 or 2, but if you fancy going away with a bunch of lunatics (snowboarders and some loosers on skis ;)) you don’t know, we’re going on the 21st.

Coming back on the 14th MArch, and then going back again for another 2 weeks at the beginning of April, don’t think I’d have a job, if I took another week off!

We’re all sorts of standards. My mate Jonathan is snowboarding but only has been 3 times I think, and he’s still a bit “wobbly”. Some of the guys in the group I’ve never been boarding with before, but I gather they’re very good, and I think I’m probably in the middle somewhere. I’m not sure about the skieers, I think they’re all pretty good. I’d imagine on the slopes we’ll split up in groups occasionally, but hang out together the rest. We’ll hopefully be doing a fair bit of backcountry riding. Not such a fan of snowparks (it hurts too much ;)).
We’re not sure yet where we’ll be going, the plan is we’ll wait till the last minute and see where the snow is best and where we can get a good deal.

Wuss :w00t: Although it does hurt like fugg when you end up going along the rail on your back when you forgot to take your body armour :hehe: Not very good at the freestlye stuff but wana learn… only been boarding on indoor snowslopes and im not that amazing yet, need to learn to ride switch. Been skiing in Austria though which was wicked
