I got given a funky monkey teddy (about 45cm tall) as a present from the Missus, as that’s what she see’s me as! I’ve gotta take it back to my place at some point but being a biker and having my ruck-sack packed full of the usual stop-out materials I was left scratching my head (as most monkeys do) as to finding a way in which to transport it. Then an idea hit me… stick it to the back of my helmet so it looks like it’s holding on… The idea made me grin so much that im thinking of maybe making it a permanent feature! (except if it rains!).
Anyone else seen or do any daft things with their bikes or riding gear?
Disappoined you’re not riding in the roman centurion gear, Sir Yam…
Don’t think it’d really pose much of a risk, especially if it were securely fastened. I mean, I’d much rather be behind a vehicle which suddenly ejects a cuddly monkey rearwards than a startled pillion, as several riders on here have done at some point!
I knew someone who had the ears on their helmet back when it was a novelty. He was riding slowly thourgh a wooded area on the way to work one morning when a bird came down and ‘attacked’ his helmet! Forget naff, they’re dangerous!

I used too, but at high speeds the helmet starts whislting and I sound like a mobile kettle :w00t:
Well, after about 1 minute of thought I realised id look a complete tw@t with a monkey attached to the back of my helmet one of those ideas you honestly think are good for about a second… Why is it always a second after you tell someone and never a second before that you realise its a dumb idea?? :hehe:
