Should have asked for slippers for christmas

Was looking for a good reliable commuter bike over the last few months, the Sprint has seen better days, and on reflection a speed triple does not fit the bill for winter.

So today I signed on the dotted line for a very good deal on a pre registered BMW F650 GS Dakar, it actually quite surprised me how much fun 50 bhp can be.

Feel free to ostracise me now, but I still have the ducati, and a speed triple will be on the way later in the year. So life is not all bad.

A BMW, a BMW FFS

Bugger I would have liked to own that, very handy round the streets od Esher and Kingston, I really like the warning on left handers that the sprocket digs into the ground.

It’s not the bike that counts mate, it’s how you fall off em that matters! Have fun, and congrats There’s nothing like a new bike…

Ewan McGregors got a lot to answer for in my book…

…but hey enjoy ( my Scrams 54bhp and it’s a hoot )
