The Whisper is (I think) a collar that wraps around the bottom of the helmet and seals the lid from air travelling up the chin and therefore makes it quieter… Havent used one though, so dont know if it works!
I tried an XR-1000 with the whisper kit on and had the helmet been a quarter of a size bigger would have bought it there and then.
I tested it on the A1 at ermmm, some considerable speed :Whistling: and there was no draught, hardly any noise, compared to my Arai RX7 it was like having a double glazed lid I wasn’t even wearing ear plugs and it would have been quite comfortable for a short time.
I’ve got one for my RAID II and haven’t been that impressed.
It doesn’t make much difference but does make it a bugger to put the helmet on and off.
Earplugs are irritating but far better.

I got one for my Raid II as well. You’re right that it makes it a bugger to get on and off, also long rides it tended to dig into the back of my neck and cause cramps.
ooh stick to earplugs!
