I had to get rid of the huge rear end on my bike, there was no way I could ride round with what looked like a tow bar sticking out of the back so it had its first service today and I had a tail tidy fitted along with an Akropovic titanium/carbon can and smaller LED indicators. The plate is 6x4 which might mean I get some hassle but I can fit a bigger one if necessary. Because the exhaust is behind me it’s not massively louder but sounds deeper.
Oldrear1 is the old rear end and rearend1 and 2 are the new look.
Would love to play around with mine, but have been heamoraging money for the last 2 months and appear to have bankrupted my self . Looks like i am gonna be on a strict diet myself - of beans on toast!!!
Thanks The sound is much deeper and rorty and it pops on the over run now Need to check it’s not running too lean. Not as loud as the Triumph was, that was a bit rude.
I hope I don’t get any hassle from plod, the plate is a bit small but the font is standard and it’s perfectly readable from 20 yards away, speed cameras and Mk I eyeball would have no problem and the rear light even has a small plate light built in and it’s all CE marked.
