I don’t know how many of you listen to BBC6 music, but the BBC has said it’s going to get axed - which is terrible if you are a serious music lover who appreciates the interesting and unusual range of music, delivered by the digital station’s passionate and expert presenters and producers (exception to this rule is George Lamb who is a c*nt but we’ll let that pass).
If the station means anything to you please sign the petition.
I was under the impression this was already beyond public influence? Either way, the BBC’s got to find some way to fund consultants and mis-appropriated management.
Gideon Coe - top fella.
Adam and Joe - I want their babies.
The fate of 6 Music rests with the public - Thompson’s plan now goes to consultation and if we the public think his decision is pants, then it gets overturned. Already the indications are that he has badly misjudged the strength of feeling.
I would accept a compromise in which George Lamb is chopped (gedditt?!?)
