Saturday 4th July

Have a few hours to burn on Saturday. Anyone around for a leisurely rideout South let me know.

Well there were no takers   so I went on my own:Whistling:

Had a great ride round the lanes of North Kent and Surrey via Downe, Boxhill and Outwood then back to sunny Croydon. First time I’ve been out of town since ‘releasing’ the Akrapovics and the bike certainly goes better now. Really sharp response and feels stronger through the gears. The standard exhausts always felt like they were throttling the engine but the Akras are just right.

Missed this:) We had to go out on our own and had a battle with a bit of gravel just South of Saffron Walden. Low side, high side, nearly road side but we managed to stay on to tell the tale:w00t:

You going on the Dunstable Downs in the morning or are you saving your juices for the Cueball Run next Sunday? Time in hand to get a BIC razor and join the coolest Massive on LB, or if not the coolest, the only LB Massive to organise top quality rideouts on a regular basis. Hope this doesn`t sound like self aggrandisement, but needs must.

Thanks to you and Old Guy for initiating us to the starting point on this one.

Would be good to see you again.

Had a couple of gravel-related moments myself today if I’m honest- I think the sun was getting to me a bit- plus the rarity of the occasion…not often able to get off the domestic duties now TBH.

Glad to hear you managed a ‘controlled’ high-low-everything-side and kept it together.

As to the Cueball Run I would like to go but riding with a group of baldies would cramp my style my wife is not keen.:hehe:
