1 May - Go there

2 May - do it

3 May - come back

I’ve done a bit of biking in Germany and its epic.

Bring yer small number plate, loud pipe:Whistling:, rucksack, credit card, insurance docs and spare smalls. :w00t:

Wing it. There are no details. (But there could be for the organised ones amongst you)

I’m going, cuz the wife’s away  even if on my own. I’m no racer but have been known to enjoy a bit of blurred scenery. No 125s I guess. Ride at your own risk blah blah.

That’s one of my planned routes Andy, Are you going all the way into Titisee? Cant you put this one off to the next bank holiday would love to come with you:D cant do this one, please, please, please:D

Oh, hang on can do this:D I’m in wah hooo:D

i’ll be keeping an eye on this. want to head to the B500 and the 'ring this year but just doing one of them would be good.
have you got a rough cost?

mmmmm

Hmmmmm… tempting… will speak to him indoors.

Costs? These could be miles out, but here goes:

Petrol for 1200 miles :160E

Hotels, 2 nights, say 80 E a night, sharing between 2 or 3? :160E

Chunnel: £30x2 : £60

Food, cake and beer : £50?

Stay in Belguium and Germany and avoid road toll : 0 E

Spa and massage in Baden Baden - dunno, depends on the extras

All in £500?

Medical and recovery insurance: essential - I use M&S for medical (Ā£50 a year?), MAG for recovery (Ā£50 a year)

Plus cost of getting bike properly ready: tyres, brakes, other servicing.

:w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t:

A man of your stamina and ability will have no probs.

Try London to Mont Blanc in a day as training

I can never understand what it is with you lot and miles upon miles on bikes,:w00t: is it a male ego thing because it cant be fun, over the last 10 years I,ve done a lot of driving in europe and the most i covered is 600 miles in one day and i find that a chore:hehe::hehe:

OK, just F**K OFF then:D

What awfull language to use on a public forum:w00t:

Hi Bricking it,

B500 and Black Forest are absolutely good area to ride with the bike, I’m very often there on the weekends to do some tours:D.

When you plan to come, just let me know when it is, maybe have daytrip togther.

Bonsai

Just what the Doctor ordered…pencil me in please Andy.

Should be good to see if Rob can handle foreign roads;)

Hahahaha

Yes I have only done this as warm up for RR. He’ll love it.

By the way it might be only 1050 miles. Is that better RR?

Would be great to have you along aswell Nick.

Here’s a hotel/pension . Looks good, good reviews and biker friendly (they’ve got an drying room and there are spannerists nearby )

:D:D

Cheers Bonsai, will let you know for sure if this trip is a goer, but I have only 1 to 3 May, hope to see you over there.

Would be tempted if not a bank holiday weekend, that road will be swarming with road warriors:w00t:Have fun, take care:)

Plus, if we can find a bar maid called Britta, we can order ā€œEin Bitter, Bitte Brittaā€

ha Ha, i can’t believe you lot are still oblivious to a certain fact:w00t::smiley:

What’s that Rob? You don’t drink Bitter?
