What happened to Sammo today?:doze:
Sam was involved in a incident while the safety car was out.
I spoke to Mick (Sam’s Dad), and Sam was being checked out at the medical center. Mick thought Sam was bruised rather than suffering from a break.
Many thanks to B who this weekend improved the set-up of Sam’s bike no end.
BTW - after that porridge, B broke out the Werthers Originals for a bit of a sugar rush!

I think Sam is ok, fingers crossed, but his forearm had swollen up quite a bit.
A few riders had a coming together while the pace car was out and Bruce Wilson was the unlucky faller, Sam stayed on board but banged his arm and then had to retire as the clash damaged his throttle.
Best of luck to Bruce, the last I heard he was still being checked out in the medical centre.
It’s a tough game this racing and there are quite a lot of lows but on the bright side we made loads of progress, Sam was happy with the bike now and Ducati Pete kept us entertained during his visit :)
Ach yeah I heard about that - some one didn’t realise the SC was out and that the pack had slowed considerably so there was a shunt of some size. I knew one guy went down but didn’t realise Sam was caught up in it - just saw him ride back into the pits.
Jeez wrong place wrong time I guess.
Well chin up mate, a racer’s lot is not a happy one sometimes. But the good times are there too and will arrive soon enough. Youngy had a mare of a weekend and was as down as I’ve ever seen him, AJ got skittled too so you’re in good company man.
And DP ? If I’d have known you were loitering I’d have made an effort to catch up.
Thats a shame to hear the news Sam. Was gutted when you stopped appearing at druids. Only cos I hadn’t got a decent shot of you in that race yet of course! 
At least you’re sorted with the bike now that B’s set it up so sweetly for ya. Good luck with the arm. Bring on Donington!

Jimmy Hill had the mother of all highsides right infront of us at druids. He got some serious hang time but seemed to be ok.
GWS to all the crashers this weekend and looking forward to seeing Craig Jones, Jonny Rea and Andrew Pitt at the donny bsb meeting :w00t:
