I guess I am not the only one to have had problems with the mount then…
Posted this on another forum earlier this year, but given the topic, it bears repeating:
Discovered tonight what a hardy wee bit of trickery the TomTom is.
I neglected to click it in properly to the bracket on the way home from work tonight. Got about 200 yards and it fell off the bike at about 20mph and bounced down the road for about 20 yards.
I picked it up, put it back on the bike (securely this time) and it got back to doing the job it was designed for.
Yeah mine has gone bouncing down the road and survived… shame the mount get’s a little loose… Charley gave me a good tip… when it’s not in the mount make sure the plastic holder is bent down into the metal bottom part - that way it keeps it’s ‘elasticness’

A bit subjective, but I actually think the sound quality of the blue tooth connection is better after dropping mine
I was thinking about returning it as the sound was cutting in and out a bit, since dropping it it has been fine!
Not that I recommend anyone else throwing theirs down the road…
I’m not going to try dropping mine to find out whether it makes the bluetooth connector better, so can someone tell me where the product code lives?
It’s on the little card that came with your Tom Tom - unfortunately there’s no other way to get it

Thanks Matt, I’ve ordered mine.
anyone else have issues with theres keep locking up ?
mine did every now and again - I found buying a bigger SD card solved it though.
