comments please ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6XAK8syAEA - that’d be pretty handy for me
Hmmm… safe i’m not so sure, but ive been doing that for ages
Do it when i have to turn the bike around in a small space
I have heard once from a friend of mine that used to work in a bike shop that one of the guys used to do it all the time when moving the bikes around in the shop and the side stand snapped
I did it…still do…but…
I did it once and the weight of the bike made the stand slide a touch and I dropped it.
One sick looking Suz GT750 and an even sicker looking Barro !!

Some bikes are easier to do than others. For some reason my gixxer is REALLY hard to do. I think it has a real nose-heavy balance which throws it out. Either that or I just suck at this technique.
Tip: Don’t do this on a Ducati, or you’ll be on the floor crying.
I have tried doing this but i just don’t have the knack, Gupps does it for me, makes it look so easy too
I do it fairly regularly if I want to spin the bike in the drive, but have a slightly bent side stand because of it… Plan where you park and you won’t ever need to
Always put my foot against the side stand as I do it to help stop it slipping. Although I think it’s more psychological than anything!
