After seeing the description of the S Doc 100 cleaner earlier this month I ordered some (from the dealer on their web site who was not aware he was on the web site but hey ho!!). Any way, ordered a bottle, it turned up, 1 litre and sprayed on the bike via compessed air (it comes in a spray bottle if you dont have a compressor) and it goes on like a gel (well actually it goes on as a gel because it is).Follow the instructions and it is great, aggitate with a sponge and even better.
Much better than Muc-Off or Gunk or Autoglym. It’s the only cleaner I have ever used that has shifted chain wax and crud from my back sprocket just with a gentle sponging. I usually have to resort to paraffin and a stiff brush for that.
Stopped using Muc-off after the large amount of corrosion that it caused to my little Varadero. I would certainly recommend Hippo, the only downside it is a little hard to track down. Usually get it of eBay. Did the bike today, just spray all over and then jetwashed (no sponge or aggitation), and it remove pretty much all the crud.
That includes all the brake dust and scottoil lub from the rear wheel. Bike has come up brilliantly.
Actually it is very good, however by careful with it. Best advice to to rinse down the bike first, spray on and don’t leave it on to long. As I said it caused a large amount of corrosion on my previous bike because I left it on to long.
