found another reason the 660 was not idling correctly lately
2day on the bcr on the way back going along the lanes then all of a sudden KAABOOM
1st thought was the engine has gone pop from the noise of the bang.
after getting the bike off the road it turned out
the rubber hose between the carb & engine split & popped apart.
big thanks to sipermoto, rikster & his m8 for helping get the bike back on the road & following me back @30mph all the way:doze:
ordered a new carb connector hose £12.95 cheap fix 
If that was for a 510 Husky it woulda been £42.95 and it would be on back order for the next 3 weeks;)
If it was for an XT it would … ah, wait, no carbs, welcome to “modern” world 
yeh my ol 660 is sooooo basic
i’d never be able to fit a pizza box like those xt660 boys:P
Not all KTM,s have carbs, not sure if i prefer FI yet:)
plus yours cant have cant have a pizza box cos of the petrol filler cap being at the back:w00t:
we dont know what we are missing:D
