Rubber for me 'Blade

I’ll have to fit new rubber over the next couple of weeks. I’ve been running BT014’s, I liked them on my GSXR and so chose them as a “predictable” tyre for the 'Blade. This time round I fancy trying some Corsa’s. Mate of mine (also with same type of 'Blade) says he prefers them.

I’ll be sorting another commuter bike so it’s mainly for summer road riding with one or two track days. Any comments ?

Personally, I would look at Diablo Corsas, rather than Super Corsas for the road, which I presume is what you mean? The DC’s are designed for the road, but have great track capability, whereas the Super Corsas are a track tyre and have limitations on the road, i.e. warm up time and wet-weather performance. I’ve run both tyres are prefer DC’s for the road, though I’ve just had SC’s fitted ready for some trackdays coming up.

As Jay says really. DC’s are best on the road, they warm up fast and inspire confidence very easily. I run SC’s on my 7, thats because I got them cheap from the track. They usually take a while to warm up and are not too good in the wet, you can’t lean too far over. Usually run them at much less pressure than road tyres, verging on track pressures really to get them to heat up faster. Definatelt don’t recommend for the inexperienced on the road.

Diablo corsa’s for me… - great tyres…

Diablo corsas. Got them on my 7 and they are great.

Corsa’s it is then…

Try the dunlop 08rr’s, i had them on my blade and man do they stick, lovely feedback, perfect for a blade. Different strokes for different folks i guess…

It got rebooted with Cosa’s and it feels fantastic. Much more feedback than with the 014’s and just as sticky if not more…
