Who remembers his first year in 250 (98 I think), when as well as being really quick and fun to watch, he seemed to be inventing new ways to crash!
Can’t remember the track, but in the last corner (a right-hander) he was neck and neck with (Harada I think) on the last lap, and then invented the front wheel highside!
True to form he got it sorted in year 2 and won it.
