Rock Band Help Please.

OK… this is very vague, but someone may have an idea…

70s - possible late 60s? - “very English” humorous “sort of” prog rock band… played all sorts of odd instruments. They had a brief revival maybe 5 - 10 years ago for possibly a charity show or something like, which was shown on terrestrial TV. A plain black stage with them sat around making music at random.
I’ve a vague feeling that one of them is better known for something else, but apart from that… no ideas.

So in short:

Comedy
Prog rock
English
Maybe 4 or 5 members

and I’ve a feeling one of them may have played a tuba, and one - perhaps the same one - may have had a “Man eating cat” type beard.

DOES ANYONE HAVE THE SLIGHTEST IDEA WHO THE **** THIS IS, BECAUSE ITS BEEN ANNOYING THE **** OUT OF ME ALL WEEKEND!!!

All suggestions welcomes, I know I’ll recognise the band name when I see it, but until then…

Bonzo Dog Doodah Band?

Neil Innes was in them, who was famous for much of the Monty python music.

That’s the baby. Thanks, headache has now gone.

Wow! That was bizzare! :stuck_out_tongue:
